Kati D’Amore was raised in an artist household in Munich Germany. Her father, was a well known portrait and landscape painter, so paintings and gallery visits were part of her upbringing. Her favorite medium is oil and her passion is portraiture and landscapes, often painted en plein air. She lives with her husband in Royal Oaks, CA and has been painting full time since 2008.
She is a Signature Member of the Monterey Bay Area Plein Air Painters Association and had been their exhibition chair for six years. Other memberships include the Santa Cruz Art League, the Pajaro Valley Arts Association, the Impressionist Society of America and the Aromas Hill Artisans. She was one of 5 Art4MC Champions in 2022.
She is participating in the annual Monterey Open Studio Tour in October.
She believes in only selling original art pieces and not reproductions.
