What is your style and what media do you use?

My style varies from realistic to abstract with a definite leaning toward contemporary abstract. I use acrylics for contemporary paintings and oil for portraits, seascapes, landscapes and still life paintings.

What subjects do you commonly portray?

I have a wide range of subjects with artwork related to the COSMOS, Earth Science, Physics, Quantum Physics and surrealism being most favored by the national and international art market. I have created work featuring Ballet Dancers, Actresses, Jazz Artists, Landscapes, Nature, Sailboats and seascapes. Most of my contemporary work is inspired by science or complex scenarios.

What are your typical sizes?

Contemporary paintings are 24X24, 36X36, and 36X48. Other categories range from 16X20 to 74X144 on canvas.

Do you make reproductions?

No. Because of my technique and texture my work is not well represented in reproduction. All my work is truly unique and one-of-a-kind.

Where can you be found?

The best place to see a sampling of my recent work is at Venture Gallery and my website: www.weatmon.artspan.com
I keep about 170 examples of my artwork on the website, but the work must be seen in person to be truly appreciated. See my website for a list of National and International Exhibitions.

All the paintings on my Website are for sale through Venture Gallery and I will give “Special Consideration” to Venture Gallery Clients. Just send me a message indicating the painting you are interested in and I will give you a special price and make arrangements to purchase through Venture Gallery.
