Painting on a canvas has been my ultimate artistic challenge, as well as a source of joy and fulfillment. From the get-go, when I put those first amateur dabs of paint to a canvas, I was hooked. I started as an eager beginner with acrylics and took multiple instructional classes, attended workshops and surrounded myself with other artists on the same journey as mine.

As far back as I can remember I have had the urge and passion to be able to create something of beauty and significance. I had been involved in various artistic pursuits: graphic design, stained glass, and most rewarding of all of that period for me was teaching hands-on art and art history as well as letterpress printing to school children through an art foundation.

 My paintings have earned awards in local juried exhibitions with a first place, second place and three honorable mentions. My works can be found in numerous places in California as well as other states and abroad.

Painting is such an integral part of my life for it totally engages and fulfills me as no other artistic pursuit has. I cannot imagine my life without it.
